Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking a Case Supervisor for practicum students actively working toward BCBA certification. You will gain structured supervision, hands-on clinical experience, and opportunities to build skills across ESDM, family guidance, assessment, and intervention planning.

The Apex Program offers enhanced development and a potential path to Lead Case Supervisor as you approach BCBA testing, with paid unrestricted hours and weekly supervision to support growth within Soar's

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s program in ABA or related field meeting BCBA coursework requirements.
• Actively accruing practicum hours toward BCBA certification.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with children and families.
• Emerging skills in case conceptualization, client programming, and clinical planning.
• Emerging skills in coaching and supporting RBTs.
• Desire to learn, grow, and receive feedback.
• Commitment to Soar’s mission and values.
• Interest in growing into a future BCBA role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a case supervisor for client cases, with scope determined by center needs and progress.
• Accrue paid unrestricted hours through client programming, supervision, and related activities.
• Update client goals and programming using Soar’s data platform.
• Provide support and supervision to RBTs, with coaching from BCBAs.
• Participate in ESDM trainings to grow clinical skills.
• Develop Behavior Intervention Plans using approaches like Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment.
• Support family treatment guidance meetings via in-house curriculum.
• Assist with assessments and reassessments, including tools like Vineland, QABF, FAST, and ESDM Checklist.
• Receive coaching from Local Clinical Trainer and other BCBAs.
• Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, OTs, Psychologists, and the care team.
• Provide direct client therapy as part of full-time role with a mix of direct therapy and activities.
