Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education in Smiths Station, AL, seeks a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead our Special Education team for grades K-12. Starting salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus, based on experience.

You will design and supervise ABA-based interventions, guide teachers in FBAs and BIPs, and ensure compliance with laws and internal standards while promoting student success across the district.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis or related field required.
• BCBA credential (licensed or in process) required.
• Experience with PBIS, FBA, and BIP implementation highly preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with education staff essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive training to teachers and staff on FBAs and BIPs.
• Monitor and evaluate instructional and behavioral support outcomes.
• Coach staff to align with IEP goals and evidence-based practices.
• Research and deliver targeted professional development to close skill gaps.
• Lead crisis prevention and management training for staff across sites.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing staff training for behavior specialists.
• Evaluate curricula and resources to meet standards and learner needs.
• Develop systems addressing academic and behavioral needs of students and classrooms.
