Helping Hands Family offers a BCBA Fellowship position in Connecticut that includes paid supervision hours within a structured clinical program. Fellows provide one-on-one ABA intervention to teach communication, daily living skills, and positive behaviors, while working toward eligibility to sit for the BCBA exam.

Responsibilities include direct client work, data collection, staff training, and conducting assessments under supervision of a BCBA mentor.

Qualifications

• Enrolled or graduated from a BACB approved Master’s or Certification Program.
• Pass the RBT exam within 30 days of employment.
• Must be active RBT for 60 days with HHF.
• Strong verbal and written communication with clients’ families and recording notes.

Responsabilités

• Build a positive relationship with clients through social interaction.
• Encourage communication, social skills, and problem-solving by guiding clients toward safe behaviors.
• Gradually reduce prompts to promote independent responses while ensuring success.
• Increase desirable behaviors through positive reinforcement.
• Accurately collect unbiased behavior data.
• Communicate with RBTs, BCBAs, families, and Clinical Directors to support clients’ needs.
• Observe and collect data.
• Train staff and caregivers on behavior-analytic programs.
• Conduct behavioral assessments (functional analyses, stimulus preference assessments).
• Research literature relevant to a client’s programming.
• Write and revise behavior-analytic programs.
• Maintain BACB Ethical Compliance Code for RBTs and client dignity.
• Work with a BCBA mentor on guided practice throughout Fellowship.
