Job summary

Fox Bros BBQ Brookhaven is seeking a General Manager to lead the Brookhaven location and drive all restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of GM or assistant F&B management experience in a full-service setting, with strong leadership and financial acumen.

You will oversee hiring, training, and discipline, ensure health code compliance, manage wage and inventory, and uphold Fox Bros BBQ standards across service, culture, and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Manager of a full service restaurant or assistant F&B Outlet Manager at a high quality hotel or resort.
• Thorough knowledge of quality restaurant service.
• Knowledge of F&B financial and cost controls.
• Knowledge of payroll, inventory and purchasing procedures.
• Ability to lead by example and demonstrate Fox Bros BBQ expectations of presentation, body language and verbiage.
• Legal ability to work in the US.
• Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in the Fox Bros BBQ style, practices, culture, terminology, structure and philosophy.
• Maintain service standards and enforce Employee Handbook policies and applicable laws.
• Oversee hiring, training, supervision and discipline of all restaurant staff.
• Oversee wage adjustments, transfers, promotions and dismissals.
• Foster an educational environment for staff development and future advancement.
• Ensure health code compliance and daily monitoring/corrections.
• Manage the restaurant budget and control costs to meet objectives.
• Oversee daily pre-shift meetings and ensure staff are kept informed and engaged.
