Job summary

Olympus Controls seeks a technically curious, customer-facing Physical AI and Robotics Sales Specialist to drive Bay Area growth in robotics, AI, semiconductor, and high-tech manufacturing. You will discuss robot integration, machine vision, and automation challenges with AI robotics startups and OEMs, and lead demonstrations and PoCs.

The role blends hands-on demos with strategic account planning, requiring strong technical credibility and commercial drive in a fast-evolving automation market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 2–5+ years in robotics, automation, technical sales, or related field.
• Experience with collaborative robots, machine vision, sensing, and industrial automation platforms.
• Comfortable with customer-facing work, demonstrations, PoCs, and technical presentations.
• Ability to build demos and support proof-of-concept development.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow strategic robotics and physical AI opportunities across the Bay Area.
• Partner with Sales Engineers to identify accounts, develop plans, and advance projects from discovery to close.
• Demonstrate credibility with customers through understanding of automation challenges and architectures.
• Deliver product demos, PoCs, and application mockups using robotics and AI tech.
• Collaborate with supplier partners to quote and position robotic solutions for automation challenges.
• Engage with AI, robotics, semiconductor, electronics, and OEM markets with a consultative approach.
• Support marketing events, technology days, and supplier-led demonstrations.
• Stay current on ROS, AI-enabled automation, machine vision, and industrial communication protocols.
