Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is partnering with a company in the San Francisco Bay Area to hire a hands-on Construction Manager for for-sale residential communities. You will oversee site work through completion, coordinating with inspectors, trade partners, and internal teams to ensure schedule, safety, and quality.

The role requires 5+ years in multifamily construction, expertise in townhomes and multi-story housing, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years leading multifamily construction projects.
• Experience with townhomes and multi-story attached housing.
• Knowledge of California building codes and Cal/OSHA.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and quality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage horizontal and vertical construction activities from site work to handover.
• Oversee subcontractors, schedules, sequencing, and workmanship.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; identify delays and risks.
• Lead preconstruction and startup meetings and site reviews.
• Coordinate inspections with municipalities and agencies.
• Ensure safety compliance and SWPPP requirements.
• Monitor budgets, review invoices, issue change orders.
• Maintain logs, photos, and progress reports.
