Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for Santa Rosa, CA to oversee day‑to‑day construction of for‑sale multifamily homes. The role spans site work through final handoff, managing schedules, costs, and quality while coordinating with trade partners and inspectors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in multifamily construction, especially townhomes and multi‑story attached housing, with strong knowledge of site development and vertical build.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of multifamily residential construction management.
• Experience with townhomes and multi-story attached housing.
• Proficient in reading civil, architectural, structural and MEP plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage horizontal and vertical residential construction activities.
• Oversee subcontractors, scheduling, sequencing and workmanship.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules and budgets.
• Lead preconstruction and startup meetings and site inspections.
• Coordinate inspections with municipalities and ensure code compliance.
• Enforce Cal/OSHA, SWPPP, and safety procedures on site.
• Review invoices, change orders, and monitor project costs.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align with plans and commitments.
• Perform quality control inspections and manage punch lists.
• Support warranty resolutions and post-closing issues.
