Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a client in Livermore, CA, seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead day-to-day residential construction for for-sale communities. The role covers site work through vertical construction, with emphasis on schedules, costs, subcontractor coordination, and quality/safety standards.

Qualifications

• Five years minimum managing multifamily residential construction sites.
• Experience with townhomes and multi-story attached housing.
• Ability to read civil, architectural, structural, and MEP plans.
• Knowledge of California building codes, Cal/OSHA, SWPPP.

Responsibilities

• Manage horizontal and vertical construction from site work to handoff.
• Oversee subcontractors, scheduling, sequencing, and workmanship.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate inspections, permits, and site safety programs.
• Lead preconstruction and startup meetings and field reviews.
• Maintain logs, photos, records, and progress reports.
• Support warranty resolution and post-closing issues.
