Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Route Service Manager to deliver batteries and provide top-tier service to a designated customer route and dealers in Fresno. You will collaborate with dealers to optimize battery mix on the rack and ensure quality programs are executed, building strong relationships for dealer retention.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of delivery/customer service experience, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Minimum one year of delivery and customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools (tablets, scanners).

Responsibilities

• Deliver batteries and provide service to each dealer on your route in a safe and timely manner.
• Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies.
• Load and unload trucks safely and maintain an accurate account of all company assets.
• Establish, build, and maintain dealer relationships.
• Keep displays and product clean, full, and rotated per consignment agreements.
• Accountable for managing a dealer account, including sales, consignment, warranties, rotates, cash collection, and invoicing.
• Complete delivery/route transactions and other paperwork on a timely basis.
• Interact professionally with all stakeholders including team members, managers, and customers.
• Follow driver program requirements as specified by manager.
