Job summary
Harbinger Motors seeks a Process Engineer Battery to support daily production and drive continuous improvement. You will resolve manufacturing issues, optimize processes, implement ECOs, and ensure products meet specifications while collaborating with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Product Engineering.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years in battery manufacturing, with expertise in Lean/Six Sigma, RCCA and cross-functional leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
- 3+ years in battery manufacturing or related high-volume production.
- Experience with safety protocols for hazardous materials.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, RCCA and data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Resolve manufacturing, safety, quality and production issues daily.
- Develop and maintain standard work instructions and process flows.
- Train technicians on updated procedures.
- Lead root cause investigations (5 Why, Fishbone, DOE, Pareto).
- Drive throughput, cycle time, OEE, yield and cost improvements.
- Support ECOs, new product introductions, and MES traceability.
- Manage line balancing, capacity planning and ergonomics.
