Job summary

Harbinger is seeking a Process Engineer Battery in Garden Grove, CA to support daily production and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery and cost. You will resolve manufacturing issues, optimize processes, and ensure products meet specifications.

You will work with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Product Engineering to improve production and capability. The role requires a Bachelor's in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering and 3+ years in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
3+ years of battery manufacturing experience.
Experience with safety protocols in HV battery manufacturing.
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma and RCCA.
Experience with MES, ERP, quality systems and data analytics.

Responsibilities

Resolve manufacturing, safety, quality, and production issues and escalate critical tasks.
Develop and maintain standard work instructions, process flows, PFMEAs, and control plans.
Train and coach technicians on updated manufacturing procedures.
Lead root cause investigations (5 Why, Fishbone, DOE, Pareto) and implement corrective actions.
Drive throughput, cycle time, OEE, yield, and cost improvements via Lean/Six Sigma.
Support ECOs, new product introductions, and MES/traceability system enhancements.
Manage line balancing, capacity planning, ergonomics, and workflow.
