Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a battery manufacturing engineer to lead the industrialization of Cell-to-Pack BEV battery pack facilities. You will specify, deliver and commission cutting-edge processes and equipment to meet top quality and cost targets, with a focus on continuous improvement.

You will manage projects, collaborate across Product, Purchasing and Suppliers, and drive manufacturability for new battery packs while supporting plant operations and transitions to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering or higher; Master's preferred.
• 1–3 years in Process Engineering is required.
• Experience with Cell-to-Pack Module Assembly processes.
• Proficient with JIRA and Smartsheet for project tracking.
• Excellent communication; able to travel and relocate short-term.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes and layout lines for Battery Modules.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver feasible manufacturing solutions.
• Drive DFx, PFMEA and control plans for quality targets.
• Define cycle times, OEE and staffing needs for new lines.
• Coordinate equipment installation and site acceptance testing.
