Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a Battery Pack Program Engineer to oversee the development of Battery Pack programs across Ford North American sites, aligning with GPDS milestones and targets. You will lead a team of engineers, manage budgets, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget program delivery.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 10+ years in Manufacturing, supplier management, and travel up to 75% during installs and launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of Manufacturing experience.
• Experience managing suppliers and placing complex orders.
• Strong Project Leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and project management when interacting with plant, unions, suppliers, PD, etc.

Responsibilities

• Deliver battery programs safely on time, at cost, with quality from to launch/ROC.
• Lead a team of program/process/test engineers through program milestones.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure milestones.
• Own the master program schedule and coordinate engineering teams & suppliers.
• Manage budgets, purchase orders, cost reviews, and financial reporting for program reviews.
