Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Battery Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead the industrialization of Cell-to-Pack BEV battery pack factories. You will collaborate with Product, Purchasing, and Suppliers to deliver feasibility, design for manufacturability, and high-quality processes and equipment.

The role requires 1–3 years in process engineering, strong CAD/PLM experience, and hands-on project leadership. It is a hybrid position with on-site collaboration and global manufacturing impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering required; Master's preferred.
• 1–3 years in Process Engineering or related role.
• Experience with Cell-to-Pack module assembly understanding is a plus.
• Experience with large-scale manufacturing projects and project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes and line layouts for Battery Manufacturing.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver manufacturing feasibility and equipment, tooling, and processes.
• Define cycle times, OEE, and performance targets with industrial engineering.
• Lead equipment installation, change management, and on-site acceptance.
• Create detailed manufacturing instructions and documentation for new technologies.
