Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Product / Textile Designer – Bath to support licensed and private-label brands across bath and soft home categories in New York.

This hands-on role combines creative development with technical execution from concept through production. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in product or textile design, strong CAD skills, and a solid understanding of textile construction, color, and finishes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum of experience in product design, textile design, home design, or a related field.
• Experience with hard bath goods is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Pointcarre.
• Experience developing production-ready artwork and repeat patterns.
• Strong knowledge of textiles and soft-goods construction.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of taking ownership of projects.
• Comfortable managing multiple brands, projects, and seasonal timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design seasonal collections and assortments for bath and other soft home products.
• Create CADs, repeat patterns, engineered placements, and colorways.
• Develop trims, textures, embellishments, and product construction details.
• Prepare production‑ready artwork and detailed tech packs for factories.
• Review samples, strike‑offs, and lab dips and manage revisions and approvals.
• Collaborate closely with design leadership, sales, sourcing, and production teams.
• Oversee multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
