Job summary

Chestnut Labs is seeking a production operator to oversee the operation of mix rooms by following schedules and formulas to plan the sequence of mixes that flow from tanks.

Responsibilities include collecting samples for QA testing, ensuring sanitary processing, maintaining knowledge of ingredients for batching, and reporting food safety issues. You will work to uphold GMPs and safety regulations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
• Follow all GMPs and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect required samples needed for Quality Assurance testing
• Exercise care and follow all sanitary process procedures associated with the pumping of mix
• Maintain working knowledge related to ingredient mix for batching purposes
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
