Job summary

Amrize in Hubbard, Texas is seeking a Batch Plant Operator RMX to be the technical heart of the plant, using computerized systems to precisely batch concrete according to strict mix designs. This on-site role requires attention to safety and log accuracy for every load.

You will monitor plant vitals, log batch data, and adjust moisture in real-time while communicating with drivers to complete orders and support high-quality production outputs.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; 2–3 years of technical training or related certs preferred.
• 1–3 years in customer service or dispatch environment required.
• Proficiency with dispatch systems and PC-based tools.
• Experience with automated batching software and Command Alkon.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant vitals, detect mechanical faults early and follow safety interlocks.
• Generate precise electronic batch tickets for every load.
• Log system errors, water overrides and mix design changes accurately.
• Set and monitor moisture, adjust trim water to maintain target water-to-cement ratio.
• Prevent waste and ensure batch accuracy to avoid out-of-spec loads.
• Communicate with drivers to complete orders efficiently.
• Maintain high-quality production outputs to support client milestones.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies and foster safety culture.
