Amrize is seeking a Batch Plant Operator (Portable H) at our Roanoke/RMX location in TX. The role focuses on batching with proper material mix, coordinating with dispatch, and maintaining plant equipment.

Applicants should have 1–3 years in a related role, basic math/PC skills, and willingness to overtime, including weekends and overnights. The position emphasizes safety and environmental compliance, leadership for teammates, and accurate KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Professional Experience (Required): Minimum of 1-3 years in customer service or dispatch.
• Computer Skills: Dispatch systems, PC, telephone headset.
• Basic computer and mathematics skills.
• Sit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods; climb stairs and ladders as needed.
• Willing to work overtime including Saturdays and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Batch product using computer or manual controls with proper mix.
• Communicate with drivers to schedule deliveries and complete paperwork.
• Operate plant equipment and perform basic front-end loader tasks.
• Provide guidance to less experienced staff and prioritize work.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and compliance requirements are followed.
• Report key performance indicators accurately and timely.
