Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Batch Plant Operator to produce quality concrete and deliver it in a timely manner to the production crew. The role supports daily operations, implements mix designs, and ensures compliance with health and safety standards.

You will work on-site, batching materials, performing maintenance, and coordinating with drivers to complete customer orders while upholding quality control guidelines.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in customer service or dispatch.
• Working knowledge of dispatch systems and PC usage.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand, lift, and work in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime including Saturdays and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Batch concrete efficiently using computer or manual controls per mix designs.
• Perform daily plant maintenance and minor adjustments.
• Complete orders, schedule deliveries, and assist with loading.
• Communicate with drivers to fulfill orders.
• Inspect plant and equipment daily and address issues.
