Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Batch Plant Operator to produce high-quality concrete on schedule for production crews. The role ensures all batches meet specifications and supports daily plant operations.

Responsibilities include batching using computer/manual controls, performing routine maintenance, coordinating deliveries with drivers, and maintaining safety standards across shifts. Overtime, including Saturdays and overnights, may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of related customer service or dispatch experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of dispatch systems and PC.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and lift as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently batch concrete using computer or manual controls following mix designs.
• Perform daily plant maintenance and minor adjustments.
• Complete customer orders, schedule deliveries, and manage paperwork.
• Communicate with drivers to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain safety, health, and environmental standards and report hazards.
