Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Plant Operator to batch concrete using computer or manual controls and perform daily plant maintenance. The role requires operating equipment safely, inspecting systems, and coordinating with management to resolve issues.

You will interact with internal and external customers and follow health, safety, and environmental policies. A valid driver’s license and basic math/computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer and basic mathematics skills.
• Must be able to use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Batch concrete using computer or manual controls with proper mix and adjustments.
• Perform daily plant maintenance, including lifting, lubrication, and minor adjustments.
• Conduct daily plant and equipment inspections and report issues.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers; maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Identify problems with plant operations in coordination with management; prioritize tasks.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies; report unsafe conditions.
