Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a reliable Batch Plant Operator to produce quality concrete and deliver on schedule to the production crew. You’ll ensure batches meet mix designs and support daily plant operations.

This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include operating computer or manual controls, performing routine maintenance, coordinating with drivers, and upholding health, safety and environmental

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–3 years in customer service or dispatch environments.
• Working knowledge of dispatch systems and basic PC usage.
• Basic math skills and data-entry comfort.
• Ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
• Willing to work overtime, including Saturdays and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Batch concrete efficiently using computer or manual controls, adhering to mix designs and adjusting as directed by QC.
• Perform daily plant maintenance and minor adjustments.
• Complete customer orders, schedule deliveries, paperwork, and light plant maintenance.
• Coordinate with drivers to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
• Monitor health, safety and environmental policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Inspect plant and equipment daily and communicate effectively with team.
