Job summary

Central Supply Company, a CRH Company, is seeking a Plant Operator to safely control batch plant production and load-out while coordinating with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries. You will batch concrete per orders, maintain equipment, and support inventory and reporting functions.

The role requires a High School diploma, 1–2 years of experience, and a CDL is preferred. Shift work including nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High School degree required.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
• Ability and willingness to pass ACI Level One (1) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety rules and conduct safety meetings; ensure facilities operate safely.
• Accurately batch concrete load per specifications; read dispatch orders.
• Batching operations in an efficient, safe manner while complying with regulations.
• Prints and files invoice tickets; provide copies to truck drivers for payment when delivering materials.
• Maintain plant equipment and perform routine repairs and cleaning.
• Become proficient in batching, dispatching and Quality Control software.
• Manage plant inventory and generate daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Understand uses of various mix designs; perform daily clerical tasks.
• Assist dispatch with driver scheduling and site access.
