Job summary

CRH in Stockton, CA is seeking a production operator to retrieve, inspect, and prepare product to customer specifications. You will operate mixer machines and batch plants, maintain production and quality records, and communicate issues to supervisors to meet deadlines.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of concrete fundamentals. ACI certification is a plus; ability to lift up to 40 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills are necessary for records and reporting.
• Knowledge of concrete fundamentals is preferred.
• ACI Field Testing Certification is preferred (not required, but achievable within 6 months).
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operates Mixer Machine and Batch Plant.
• Maintain records of production and quality issues.
• Notify supervisor of nonconforming product or problems with the machine.
• Communicate production issues with other employees and supervisors.
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Review product for inconsistencies and ensure quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Understand electronics, programmable controllers, hydraulics, and electrical basics.
• Assist others in setting up machines to meet deadlines.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and communicate safety concerns.
