Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Batch Mixer to support expanding manufacturing operations in Portage, IN. This full-time role offers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift opportunities with weekly pay and a stable team environment.

You will collect and blend raw materials, prepare batches for the line, and ensure accurate batch records while maintaining equipment and a safe workplace. Prior batch-mixing experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or batch mixing experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient with basic computer systems; PLC familiarity preferred.
• Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Strong verbal and written communication; self-driven and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Collect, measure, and combine raw materials based on batch formulas.
• Prepare and cook batches for the production line.
• Review and adhere to production documentation and batch records.
• Operate heated and non-heated batching equipment.
• Clean and sanitize all mixing equipment to standards.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Maintain a safe and high-quality working environment.
