Helicopter Jobs is seeking a Base Pilot Supervisor to lead line pilots at the base, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and the Operations Manual. The role collaborates with the Program Director to keep operations safe, efficient, and economical across shifts.

The candidate will oversee duty scheduling, flight planning, new-hire orientations, and base payroll coordination while maintaining high standards for weather awareness and rotorcraft procedures.

Qualifications

• 2000 hours total flight time.
• 1500 hours helicopter time.
• 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command.
• 500 hours turbine.
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and training to Base Line Pilots.
• Develops pilot duty schedules with Regional Director of Flight Operations.
• Coordinates flight planning activities and resources for mission support.
• Conducts local area orientations for new hires.
• Coordinates aviation activities for public relations events.
• Reviews and submits payroll grids to Regional Director of Flight Operations.
• Operates aircraft safely with emphasis on Rotorcraft Flight Manual compliance.
• Monitors weather and forecast changes.
• Preflight of aircraft prior to shift and transports.
