Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks a Base Pilot Supervisor to oversee line pilots and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and the company Operations Manual at the base. The role partners with the Program Director to maintain safe, efficient, and economical base operations.

Leadership is essential as you train and guide pilots, coordinate schedules and flight planning, and ensure timely reporting and payroll processes. Competitive incentives include a base stipend and sign-on/retention bonuses.

Qualifications

• 2000 hours total flight time with 1500 helicopter hours
• 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
• 500 hours turbine; 100 hours night unaided
• 1 year of experience as a Pilot with a GMR company
• Previous supervisory experience is helpful

Responsibilities

• Develops pilot duty schedules with Regional Director of Flight Operations
• Coordinates flight planning activities and resources for mission support
• Conducts local area orientations for new hire pilots
• Coordinates aviation activities for public relations events
• Reviews and submits payroll grids to Regional Director of Flight Operations
• Operates aircraft safely with emphasis on Rotorcraft Flight Manual compliance
• Monitors weather and forecast changes
• Conducts preflight inspections and notes discrepancies in engineering log
