Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks a Base Pilot Supervisor to oversee Line Pilots at the base, ensuring operations stay in compliance with FAA regulations, the EMS Operations Manual, and applicable state rules. You will lead the base team and coordinate with the Program Director for flight planning and resources.

The role requires 2000 total flight hours, substantial helicopter time, and prior supervisory experience. Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate and Instrument Rating are required.

Qualifications

• Meet Base Line Pilot requirements: 2000 hours total flight time, 1500 hours helicopter time, 1000 hours helicopter PIC, 500 hours turbine, 100 hours night unaided or 50 unaided with 100 aided.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and training to Base Line Pilots.
• Develops and coordinates pilot duty schedules with Regional Director of Flight Operations.
• Coordinates flight planning activities and resources for mission support.
• Conducts orientations for new hire pilots at the base.
• Monitors weather and forecasts to support safe operations.
• Oversees payroll submissions and base pilot payroll grids.
• Ensures safe aircraft operation in compliance with Rotorcraft Flight Manual.
