Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks a Base Pilot Supervisor to lead the Base Line Pilots and ensure all operations comply with FAA regulations, the Air Evac EMS Operations Manual, and state rules. The BPS will coordinate flight planning, schedules, training, payroll submissions, and base logistics, while maintaining safe, efficient operations and daily oversight.

A strong rotorcraft flight background, PIC time, turbine hours, and rotorcraft certification are required; a 7/7 schedule and housing are

Qualifications

• 2000 hours total flight time
• 1500 hours helicopter time
• 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
• 500 hours turbine
• 100 hours night unaided or 50 unaided with 100 aided

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates pilot schedules with Regional Director of Flight Operations
• Coordinates flight planning activities and base resources
• Conducts local area orientations for new hire pilots
• Coordinates aviation activities for PR events
• Submits pilots’ monthly flight/duty logs to Regional Director of Flight Operations
• Monitors pilots at the base and assists in day-to-day management
• Submits base pilot payroll grids to Regional Director of Flight Operations
• Operates aircraft safely with adherence to Rotorcraft Flight Manual
• Monitors weather and forecast changes
• Conducts preflight inspections and notes discrepancies
