Job summary

Trane Technologies in Milwaukee is seeking a Digital Area Service Manager to join our team, leading BAS-focused service delivery and field operations.

You will own P&L, lead a distributed service team, drive digital service growth, ensure safety, and coordinate with sales, engineering, and field ops to achieve customer outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years in BAS or building automation, strong leadership, project management, and travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC BAS controls or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience managing and coaching teams.
• Project management capability for startups, requests, and service/delivery.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications; Salesforce experience is an asset.
• Valid driver's license with clean record in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L, monthly revenue forecasting, growth of digital service base, and support digital growth in repairs/installation/service turnkey by partnering with sales.
• Control budgets and overhead for fleet, uniforms, tools, and safety equipment.
• Mitigate risk across service agreements, turnkey work, and repairs.
• Lead service coordination and resource planning for efficient customer response and optimal technician deployment.
• Coach and develop digital service staff; drive continuous improvement through training and performance management.
• Ensure margin and cash performance via invoicing, budgets, and process improvements.
• Champion EHS compliance across the service team and training in safe practices.
• Travel to customer sites as needed; work in various environments.
