Job summary

Automated Logic Corporation, a Carrier subsidiary, is seeking a Building Automation Software Engineer to design and program BAS systems for commercial facilities within the Great Lakes region. You will configure site-specific control systems and develop robust algorithms, collaborating with hardware, graphics, and operations teams.

The role reports to the Ohio Engineering Manager and requires 1–2 days in the office with 3–4 days remote weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience in HVAC or BAS controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, building automation, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and program building automation systems, site-specific configuration of control system, and control algorithms.
• Adhere to project requirements and company and customer standards of design, programming, and implementation.
• Document and communicate the building automation system design and revisions.
• Develop graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems.
• Test programming and interfaces prior to implantation.
• Provide technical support to sales representatives to ensure customers’ needs are met.
