Job summary

Open Control Systems (OCS) is seeking a Building Automation Controls Engineer to design, program, commission, and support commercial HVAC BAS/DDC systems. The role splits time between the office and customer sites to configure controllers, develop control sequences, and deliver fully operational building automation solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering degree, 3+ years of hands-on HVAC controls experience, and proficiency with Alerton, Tridium, or Siemens.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent training.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with design, commissioning and programming of digital HVAC controls systems.
• Proficiency working with Alerton, Tridium, or Siemens.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls in new construction and retrofit projects.

Responsibilities

• Configure and program HVAC building automation and control systems and create sequences of operations.
• Develop and test software programs to operate the system.
• Complete hardware design and software programming using established standards.
