Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation, a leader in building automation, seeks a Building Automation Software Engineer for Automated Logic in the Great Lakes region, with Ohio-based duties. This hybrid role requires 1-2 days in the office and 3-4 days remote each week.

You design and program BAS, configure site-specific controls, and integrate BACnet/Modbus/LON/N2. You will collaborate with hardware, graphics, and operations teams to deliver robust building solutions across commercial facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of experience in HVAC or BAS controls.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, building automation, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with BAS software and Automated Logic suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and program building automation systems, site-specific configuration of control system, and control algorithms.
• Develop graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems.
• Test programming and interfaces prior to implantation and during commissioning.
• Provide technical support to sales representatives to ensure customers’ needs are met.
• Collaborate with hardware, graphics and operations teams to deliver robust BAS solutions.
