Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Systems Integrator/Controls Engineer to design and implement BAS/DDC control systems for HVAC and building technologies. You will work on diverse projects from design through commissioning, collaborating with project managers, field technicians, and customers to deliver high-quality automation solutions.

The role offers growth opportunities within a specialized engineering team and requires travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing, programming, or engineering BAS/DDC
• Experience with commercial HVAC control systems and energy management
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and sequences
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office and common engineering software

Responsibilities

• Design complete DDC/BAS control systems from plans and specs.
• Develop controller programming, graphics, databases, and front-end interfaces.
• Select and verify control hardware and field devices for compatibility.
• Review project scope, engineering requirements, budgets, and schedules with PMs.
• Produce control drawings, submittals, O&M manuals, and as-built docs.
• Coordinate with purchasing and operations for timely materials delivery.
• Assist with system startup, commissioning, testing, and turnover.
• Provide customer training and ongoing technical support.
