Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program, integrate, and commission Building Automation Systems for commercial facilities in Oklahoma. You will work on BAS/DDC projects, collaborating with technicians and project teams to improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in BAS/DDC, experience with Niagara N4, FX, KMC, and open protocols, and can take projects from design through startup.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BAS/DDC controls engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and mechanical equipment operation.
• Experience with DDC programming, control sequences, graphics, and equipment integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, program BAS/DDC for commercial HVAC applications.
• Develop control sequences, system architecture, point schedules, graphics, and technical documentation.
• Program and configure controllers, supervisory devices, and operator interfaces using Niagara N4 and other BAS platforms.
• Support the integration of HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, air handlers, rooftop units, VAV systems, and VFDs.
• Perform system startup, functional testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation.
• Review mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, control diagrams, and sequences of operation.
• Integrate third-party equipment and systems using BACnet, Modbus, and other protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, technicians, mechanical contractors, and customers throughout project execution.
• Troubleshoot control hardware, software, communication networks, and system performance issues.
• Provide technical support for system upgrades, retrofits, and energy optimization projects.
• Ensure projects meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.
