Job summary
Carrier, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is seeking an Automated Logic BAS/BMS Associate Field Engineer for the Elkhart or La Porte, IN area. You will own turn-key delivery, from install to commissioning and troubleshooting of DDC systems while mentoring junior technicians.
Travel as needed, coordinate with project teams, and apply ASHRAE guidelines to deliver safe, high-performance building automation solutions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable by the company’s insurer.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (squatting, climbing).
Responsibilities
- Turn-Key Delivery: own install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems with full software solutions.
- Technical Leadership: mentor junior techs and act as a trusted advisor to customers.
- Risk & Coordination: coordinate with Project Managers to manage risk and ensure clear communication.
- Travel & Flexibility: travel as needed and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Proficiency & Growth: deep proficiency with ALC products and ASHRAE guidelines.
- Project Integrity: maintain documentation for commissioning logs and progress tracking.
