Job summary

Carrier, through Automated Logic, seeks a Lead Field Engineer to own turn‑key project delivery across building automation systems. You will mentor field staff, advise customers, and ensure high‑quality outcomes in complex environments.

This role requires travel, end‑to‑end accountability, and proficiency with ASHRAE guidelines to deliver safe, high‑performance controls and systems for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in Building Automation or HVAC.
• Must possess a valid, current Driver’s License and be insurable.
• Able to lift items up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Capable of working over 8 feet above grade and using ladders and lift equipment.
• Proficient with ALC products and ASHRAE guidelines for high‑performance systems.

Responsibilities

• Turn-Key Delivery: own install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems.
• Technical Leadership: mentor junior techs and serve as trusted advisor to customers.
• Risk & Coordination: partner with PMs to manage risk and ensure reliable delivery.
• Travel & Flexibility: travel as needed and adapt to shifting project priorities.
• Proficiency & Growth: apply deep knowledge of ALC products and systems.
• Project Integrity: maintain expert‑level documentation and progress tracking.
