Job summary

Divcon Controls, based in Dallas, TX, seeks an Applications Engineering Project Coordinator to provide administrative, operational, and project coordination support to the Engineering team handling Building Automation System projects. The role emphasizes organizing deliverables, documenting processes, and ensuring timely communication across engineering and other business functions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in admin or project coordination within engineering/technical settings.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook/Teams/SharePoint).
• Experience with PM software (Monday.com/Smartsheet/MS Project).
• Experience with document management systems.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Applications Engineering and leadership.
• Create, organize, and maintain engineering project schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure engineering documentation is complete and accessible.
• Assist onboarding new engineering projects by confirming dates and checklists.
• Maintain department metrics, reports, and dashboards.
• Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and workload.
• Notify engineers and stakeholders of deadlines and action items.
• Coordinate review meetings and document minutes and actions.
• Serve as liaison between Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing/Panel Shop, Field Operations.
• Help resolve documentation gaps and follow up with owners.
• Assist with engineering change tracking and document revisions.
• Support implementation and improvement of engineering processes and SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and document control.
