Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill in London, ENG, GB is seeking a Pool Bartender for the Miraval Oasis pool environment. You will provide timely, friendly service, craft cocktails, and beverage recommendations while upholding Hyatt standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Open and prepare the pool bar, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health codes.
• Greet guests, seat them promptly, and present drink menus with recommendations.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per standard recipes.
• Monitor guest experience and address requests promptly.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and restock supplies as needed.

SUMMARY

Miraval Oasis Pool Bartender provides timely, accurate, and friendly service while serving the highest quality beverages for guests while upholding Miraval visions and values.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assure opening checklist is completed and restaurant is prepared for opening.
• Observe customers as they sit down at pool and assure they are greeted promptly and properly and seated in a friendly manner.
• Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages.
• Monitor and observe guest's overall experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with food and service.
• Respond promptly and courteously to any requests or problems.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Restaurant’s standard drink recipes.
• Knowledgeable with food and beverage selections
• Learn names of patrons and personally recognize regulars.
• Wash and sterilize glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
• Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at thepoolandin the designated areas.
• Report any observed guest issues to Manager.
• Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to Manager.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety codes and policies.

Qualifications

• A true desire to serve others in a fast-paced environment

Refined verbal communication skills

• Fast paced, fine dining and a passion for craft & mindful mixology preferred
• Proficient with POS touch-system
• Strong knowledge of beer, wine and liquor service as well as responsible service of alcohol.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to work independently and outdoors.
• TIPS and Title IV certification preferred.
