Job summary

Hyatt Regency Houston-Downtown in Houston, TX is seeking a Cocktail/Beverage Server for our LobbiBar on a full-time basis. You will greet guests, guide cocktail selections, take and enter orders, and ensure timely service while upholding safety policies.

The ideal candidate has strong hospitality skills, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, knowledge of spirits and cocktails, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and craft cocktails is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for hospitality and guest service.
• Ability to lift moderate weight, up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for long for entirety of shift.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through our cocktail and beverage selections with confident knowledge and thoughtful recommendations.
• Accurately take beverage orders and enter them into the POS system; ensure timely delivery of all drinks.
• Present beverages in an appealing, professional manner, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and anticipate needs throughout their visit.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting bar lounge environment.
• Collaborate with bartenders and fellow team members to ensure seamless service.
• Uphold all safety and responsible alcohol service protocols.

As a Cocktail/Beverage Server at LobbiBar, you will play a vital role in delivering a welcoming and elevated guest experience. Qualifications

Previous experience in a high-volume bar or lounge setting preferred.
