Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Restaurant Server to join our team in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment. You will take guest menu selections, present beverage options, and offer knowledgeable recommendations to enhance the dining experience.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, polished service, and a welcoming presence. The position requires stamina to stand and walk, PM shift availability, and certifications (TABC and Food Handlers).

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must have experience working in a high-volume, upscale environment.
• Must be able to work primarily PM shifts anytime from 1:00pm to 1:00am or closing time, on any day, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be TABC and Food Handlers certified.

Responsibilities

• Submit guest menu selections and present these food and beverage preferences.
• Gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings.
• Engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by your style and service attributes.
• Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.
