Thompson Palm Springs is seeking an In-Room Dining Server to stock, set up, and deliver room service orders and amenities to guest rooms. You will retrieve trays, stay informed about hotel services and menu items, and relay dietary needs to the kitchen for consistent guest satisfaction.

Applicants should be at least 21, preferably with hotel/resort experience, and demonstrate refined verbal communication skills. Lifting of moderate weights may be required during shifts.

As an In Room Dining Server, your duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Stock, set-up, and deliver all room service orders and property amenities to guest rooms
• Retrieve trays from the guest rooms to maintain a neat and sanitary appearance
• Be knowledgeable of all services provided within the hotel and all menu items
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Ensure correct posting in POS system for communication to the service and kitchen department.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age (required by California law to handle alcoholic beverages)

Previous experience working at a hotel/resort preferred

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

Refined verbal communication skills.

Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
