Job summary

HHM Hotels seeks a Bartender to serve beverages and/or food with friendly, courteous, timely service to achieve guest satisfaction.

The role includes maintaining a clean bar, verifying age for alcohol, preparing drinks, handling guest checks, and following safety and sustainability guidelines. A high school diploma is preferred, with bartending experience or training and Food Sanitation certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• TIPS certification a plus.
• Previous bartending/mixologist experience required or equivalent training.
• Food Sanitation certificate a plus, required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Check identification to verify age for alcohol purchases.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• Take orders and serve/clear food and beverages as applicable.
• Issue guest checks and complete payment process.
• Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
• Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels.
• Complete required side work prior to shift end.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and work to improve scores.
• Assist with beverage inventory.
• Follow EarthView sustainability guidelines.
• Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS/OSHA standards.
