Job summary

HHM Hospitality is seeking a bartender who can expertly mix drinks and serve guests in a lively bar and lounge environment. The role requires maintaining a clean bar, verifying IDs, and handling payments efficiently.

You will contribute to guest satisfaction and support beverage inventory and safety procedures. Prior bartending or mixology experience is required or equivalent training, with a high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous bartending/mixologist experience required or equivalent training.
• TIPS certification a plus.
• Food Sanitation certificate a plus, required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Serve beverages and/or food in a friendly, courteous and timely manner to guests.
• Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
• Check IDs to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• Take and serve orders, and clear beverages for guests at tables in bar and lounge areas.
• Issue guest checks and complete payment processes.
• Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
• Assist with inventory and beverage requisitions to maintain par levels.
• Adhere to sustainability guidelines under HHM’s EarthView program.
• Follow MSDS and OSHA safety practices and wear protective equipment.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and perform duties as requested by management.
