Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a skilled Bartender to serve beverages and/or food with a focus on guest satisfaction and safety in a fast-paced bar and lounge setting. You will maintain a clean bar, verify ages, and handle orders, payments, and inventory as needed.

The role offers a path to growth within the restaurant and hotel food & beverage management, with emphasis on sustainability and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• TIPS certification a plus.
• Previous bartending/mixologist experience required or equivalent training.
• Food sanitation certificate a plus, required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Take orders, and serve and clear food and beverage to guests seated at tables in bar and lounge areas when applicable.
• Issue guest checks and complete payment process.
• Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
• Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels as needed.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Assist with beverage inventory and follow sustainability guidelines (EarthView) and safety standards (MSDS/OSHA).
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
