The position requires bartending experience, the ability to recognize intoxicated customers, and strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards. The schedule is intermittent (0-19 hours/week) with a pay rate of $18.79 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale or in a bar.
• Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and respond appropriately.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cash register operation.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift modest-weight items for extended periods.
• Minimum age required to serve alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to customers.
• Sets up bar, maintains sanitation, stocks items, and cleans equipment.
• Receives payment, operates the cash register, and provides receipts.
• Completes required alcohol-service training and adheres to safety procedures.
• Identifies unruly or intoxicated individuals and follows procedures to resolve issues.
