Job summary

Schweitzer is seeking a bartender for a seasonal role at our Vermont resort. The position requires a team player with strong communication and exceptional guest service in a fast-paced setting. Prior bartending experience and Vermont alcohol service certification are preferred, with duties including bar setup, product promotion, and cash handling.

Qualifications

• 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Certified to serve alcohol in accordance with Vermont State Liquor Laws.
• Must be able to multitask and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with Vermont liquor laws while serving beverages.
• Set up bar: stock beer, wine, glassware, and supplies as needed.
• Promote and sell products to guests and manage cash handling.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and bar area.
• Attend shift and training meetings and participate in ongoing staff development.

A bartender will consistently display a friendly demeanor, while providing anticipatory guest service in a fast-paced environment.
