Stratton Mountain Resort is seeking an energetic bartender for a seasonal role in Vermont. The position offers full- and part-time hours with compensation at $8.75/hr plus tips, plus access to resort perks and benefits for eligible employees.

The role demands teamwork, agility, and excellent communication, with knowledge of Vermont liquor laws and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Recruitment runs through December.

Qualifications

• 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume F&B environment preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of liquor quality and preparation of beverages.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certified to serve alcohol per Vermont State Liquor Laws.
• Organized, able to multitask, and make quick decisions.
• Remain calm under stressful situations and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Understand and practice serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with Vermont State Liquor Laws.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation procedures; maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations.
• Keep supervisor informed of problems or situations needing attention.
• Set up bar: stock beer, wine, glassware, etc.
• Promote and sell products.
• Adhere to sound cash-management procedures.
• Attend all shifts and training meetings.
• Daily cash-outs and deposits, as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
