Job summary

R365hire is seeking a friendly front-of-house team member for a Minnesota pub. You will greet guests, assist with seating, and help with running food, expo, and dishes as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include stocking, keeping the bar tidy, taking orders via POS on guests' phones, and ensuring compliance with alcohol laws. A positive attitude and good communication are essential. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must have proper legal identification.
• Must possess alcohol awareness certificate.
• Reach, bend, stoop, wipe and climbs stairs.
• Lift or carry service trays weighting up to 50 pounds multiple times per shift.
• Able to operate point-of-sale system.
• Walk, stand, and move about briskly during entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests from entry through departure in a team-based front-of-house role.
• Ensure bar & pub are stocked, clean and tidy.
• Greet and seat guests, and assist with reservations as needed.
• Take and relay orders, advise on menu selections, and assist with POS on guests' phones.
• Clear and sanitize surfaces, reset for next guests, and maintain a professional demeanor.

Responsible for assisting guests from the moment they enter the pub until they leave in a multitude of ways. We are a team and expect team members to assist with all responsibilities in the front of house and occasionally back of house (running food, expo, dishes).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the bar & pub are fully stocked, kept clean and tidy.
• Attention to detail and knowing the menu.
• Set the bar and tables to help prepare the pub before opening.
• Greet and seat guests when needed and knowing how to use reservation software.
• Serve guests with the following:

• Giving advice on menu selections.
• Assist the guest with ordering from point of sale system on their phone.
• Serving the guest.
• Clear the bar top and tables following sanitizing instructions.
• Assist the guest make a payment on their phone or if needed collect payment on the handheld device.

• Clear the bar top and tables after service, disinfect, and reset for the next guests.
• Ensure the bar & pub area is kept clean and sanitized at all times
• Close and clean the bar & pub area and ensures that it is ready for the next day.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the manager on duty.
• Adhere to all state/local laws and policies of the pub, regarding the service of alcohol.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor with pub guests and employees.
• Keep self-neat, clean, and in proper uniform at all times.
• Abide by all pub policies and procedures.
• The ability to sell, eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a team player.
