The Granite Grill in Raleigh, North Carolina, is hiring bartenders for its opening team of this highly anticipated new full-service restaurant. Training will begin in November and positions are offered as both part-time and full-time roles to fit different schedules.

Bartenders are energetic, friendly, and attentive, with the ability to learn our steps of service, food and beverage menus, and company values.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 21 years of age, proficient in English, lift 30 pounds, and able to stand and move about the restaurant for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet bar guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Create a convivial bar atmosphere.
• Provide menu knowledge and recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Create cocktails according to recipes.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests.
• Handle payments.
• Work as part of a team to prepare the bar for service and keep the shift moving smoothly including bar cleaning, glass cleaning, pre-bussing.

We are looking for energetic, friendly, and attentive team players who love to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Bartenders are immersed in a training program to become knowledgeable in our steps of service, food and beverage menus, and company values.

Bartenders are the face of the restaurant and leave a lasting impression by:

• Greeting bar guests with warmth and professionalism
• Creating a convivial bar atmosphere
• Providing menu knowledge and making thoughtful recommendations
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Creating cocktails according to recipes
• Delivering food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards
• Anticipating guest needs and responding quickly to requests
• Handling payments
• Working as part of a team to prepare the bar for service and keep the shift moving smoothly including bar cleaning, glass cleaning, pre-bussing

What we are looking for:

About The Granite Grill

The Granite Grill is a new upscale, classic American grill located in the Glenlake Development where Creedmoor Road meets Edwards Mill. Training will begin in November.

Our menu features seafood, steaks, signature burgers, salads, and familiar appetizers deliciously prepared with fresh ingredients. Our stylish new space includes a well-stocked bar, spacious covered patio, comfy leather booths, and a cozy private event space.
